2021 Tax Season Update
American Rescue Plan (Advanced Child Tax Credit)
Many of you have received 6 months worth of Advanced Child Tax Credits in 2021. The other 6 months of credits will be calculated on your tax return. Because of this we will need to know exactly how much you received in Advanced Child Tax Credit payments in 2021.
Stimulus Payment
We will also need to know how much you received in stimulus payments in 2021. For every person listed on your tax return, you should have received $1400. You most likely received the payment around March or April 2021, so please check your bank records to confirm the amount.
This is NOT taxable, but your return can not be filed without this information.
